I used to read mainly non-fiction. I thought I was not making the best use of my time if I wasn’t reading a book in order to be a better person than I already was.
I still love to read a lot of non-fiction, personal development type books, but I’ve learned and found that balance is really helpful and important for me.
I like to read non-fiction earlier in the day and fiction before going to bed, to relax my mind from the long day – usually, of work and thought.
